Political Forum
The Chambers County Republican Women will held a Republican candidate forum at White's Park on January 12th at 6:30 p.m. Almost all GOP candidates attended the forum, including those in the new US Congressional District 36.
West Chambers County Chamber of Commerce is planning on hosting a forum on March 20, 2012. As information becomes available, it will be posted on this site.
REDISTRICTING GETS APPROVAL!
Chambers County has received clearance (approval) of the Voting, Commissioner and Justice of the Peace/Constable Precinct redistricting lines that were submitted.

CHAMBERS COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY
The CCRP Regular Busniess Meeting on Monday, January 16, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. has been postponed. A new date and time will be set and posted.
The CCRP Ballot Drawing will be February 3, 2012, at a time and location to be determined. The meetings are open and all Republican members are welcome and encouraged to attend these meetings.

In May 2007, the 80th Texas Legislature voted to amend the pledge to the Texas flag by adding the words, "one state under God." Governor Rick Perry signed the bill on June 15, 2007 making the change effective immediately. The pledge to the Texas flag is as follows:
"Honor the Texas flag; I pledge allegiance to thee, Texas, one state under God, one and indivisible."
